About Us
Mickey brings over 20 years of experience in higher education to northwest Louisiana guiding high school students through the college search and selection process.
He has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology and actually served as a college instructor for 3 years before transitioning into the college admission world. He started as an Admission Counselor at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS and eventually moved to Shreveport and served as Director of Admission at Centenary College. During his time in higher education, he loved assisting high school students and parents through the college application process. After a career of close to 15 years in higher education he transitioned out of the field to look for new opportunities.
In 2012, he launched Quinlan College Consulting and has been working with local high school students ever since to help them find the right fit for their college future.
In his free time, Mickey enjoys fishing, hiking, and watching his kids sporting events

Suneera Sit
College Consultant
Suneera grew up in Shreveport and has a Bachelors Degree from Centenary College in Biology, and a Masters in Higher Education from University of North Texas. While at UNT, She worked with Student Affairs to put on programs and events on campus, and helped to manage over 400 student clubs and organizations. After graduating from UNT, She worked for OrgSync as a Campus Consultant. This time, instead of working directly with students, She worked directly with administrators on Campus to instruct them to use software to manage student involvement. Through this role, she had the wonderful opportunity to travel to client campuses in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky and North Carolina, even Australia.
After traveling for several years, She moved to back to Shreveport when she married her husband, and took some time off while our children were little. She joined Quinlan College Consulting in 2022, and is excited to help families and students navigate the college admissions process.
Glas has been with QCC since 2020 and has been a fantastic addition to our group bringing a wealth of experience from the high school counseling world. She holds an MBS from Centenary College , and previously worked at Loyola College Prep where she served as Director of College Placement for 25 years.
In her free time she enjoys volunteer work, exercise classes, and traveling to visit grandchildren
